California Grandmother Deters Burglar by Firing a Revolver

A 72 year old California grandmother, facing a burglar trying to gain entry into her home, pulled out a revolver and fired, just missing her target. The thief had tried to get in the front door of Jan Cooper’s home where she lived with her 85 year old husband. After being unable to gain access to the front, the thief jumped the back fence and tried to open the sliding glass doors.
