Major Television Stations File Suit Claiming Copyright Infringement

Digital streaming plans may go awry for Aereo after several major television stations including CBS, NBC and ABC file suit claiming copyright infringement. Aereo announces plans to stream television shows through a membership digital service. The television stations that filed suit claims that the shows are protected under copyright. Aereo was founded by former Fox television’s Barry Dillard. Fox is also one of the stations included in filing the suit.
