In an unexpected move, the FCC is reconsidering its current stance on some content restrictions currently being enforced on public broadcast stations. Broadcasters believe that many of the current rules are arbitrary, and Justice Anthony Kennedy of the Supreme Court agreed in 2012, noting that the FCC’s rules were vague.
