Chicago Restaurant Manager Charged with Identity Theft

A Chicago restaurant manager has been charged with stealing customer credit card numbers and using them to purchase pre-paid cards for which he bought numerous Disney vacations including two cruises. The manager of upscale restaurant Eddie Merlots had apparently stolen more than $50,000 from restaurant customers and employees. The manager is charged with identity theft and money laundering. He also used patron’s credit cards to purchase gift cards.
